Merger Update
On the 27th of August, Powerstate and Satisfac held Special General Meetings to decide the outcome of the merger proposal.

Members of both credit unions voted resoundingly in favour of the proposal, exceeding the 75% majority required for the merger to go ahead.

The official merger date is October 1st, 2009.  Despite this official date, both credit unions will largely continue to trade on a business as usual basis.  Members can expect to see more visible changes relating to the merger during late 2009 and into 2010.
